Safety as Standard

Safety considerations are of paramount importance in any new motorhome and Bailey has always given significant emphasis to this aspect of product design. As a result, key features, such as an ABS braking system and high performance premium brand tyres have been specified as standard in all models, whilst fully approved three-point seatbelts and frames are fitted to every dedicated rear passenger seat. However Bailey wanted to take this process a stage further and in 2011 it embarked on a two year motorhome crash test simulation programme at the internationally renowned Millbrook Proving Ground - one of Europe’s leading test and development facilities for whole vehicles, systems and components. Based upon Millbrook’s recommendations this consisted of a series of 30mph frontal impact tests on the HyGe Sled facility using a cell containing the dedicated rear passenger seating area mounted on a dummy cab and chassis. This pioneering research has allowed Bailey to make significant enhancements to the motorhome bodyshell and furniture to help improve overall vehicle safety for both driver and passengers examples of which are as follows: AL-KO AMC chassis outriggers fitted to provide the floor with additional support beneath the dedicated rear passenger seating areas Anchoring of heavy appliances including the kitchen fridge and oven to the floor Steel framed seat base supports for all designated travel seats fitted with velcro secured cushions Steel framed structural bulkhead to support rear-facing designated travel seats Re-location of under locker lighting away from the immediate headroom space of rear passengers Dedicated stowage location of side mounted tables whilst in transit This combined with the enhanced protection provided by the high performance Alu-Tech bodyshell and the re-enforced habitation area furniture, we believe, sets Bailey motorhomes apart from other products in terms of vehicle safety

Motorhome hired from Gorseinon branch, Swansea. Fantastic service from start to finish. Very detailed handover, lots of care taken to ensure I understood the Motorhome and it’s controls. Excellent experience, would highly recommend. The Motorhome was in fantastic condition, spotless.

Hired our first ever motor home from the Gorseinion branch, the booking was easy thanks to Stuart who sorted everything out when we had to cancel our original booking and rearrange for another time. The motor home was fantastic, clean and comfortable and a big thanks to Dean who explained everything we needed to know and a great holiday was had by all. We would definitely do it again.

We hired a Motorhome from Days Rental for a week. We had a detailed hand over and good service when we arrived to pick the Motorhome up. The vehicle was clean and more than suited our needs. i.e me, wife and dog. We we met on the return and the hand back was quick and effortless. We recommend them and will be back.

Although we had some issues with the camper van itself (Bailey 68-2), the reception and assistance that we had from the staff was excellent. From reception to being shown around the camper and on return, where we highlighted some issues, the attitude of the staff was great. I'd like to thank Peter & Dean for their understanding & responsiveness to our issues and feedback. We would certainly use Day's again if hiring a motorhome.

I rented a motorhome from Days for a long weekend with my cousin who is in a wheelchair. The staff were very helpful and considerate … We did have a problem with the glass safety screen for the cooker, which shattered … we had thought that we would be charged for this, however the staff at Days … did not charge us. Would definitely use Days again.

Excellent service! Had a slight issue with the water while in Northumberland but a few calls to Dean in Swansea and it was quickly sorted. Spent two weeks traveling up and around the North and Scotland and the motorhome didn't miss a beat! All in all a great holiday and will definitely hire from Day's again!

I have always hired the smaller Baileys before, but this time my family and I treated ourself to the 6 Berth so we had a bit more room. I would heartily recommend a bigger vehicle. Days has done it again! Thank you! Simon :)
