Age Limit & Endorsements

Hirers/Drivers must be aged 25 and over

And must have held a full driving licence for at least 24 months and had no accidents in the last 12 Months.

Endorsements:

A maximum of 2 x SP30’s is acceptable, any other endorsements please refer hire@days.co.uk or call 0800 3897626.

NB- Mini Buses over 3,500 Kgs require a D1 Licence category.
Vans over 3,500 Kgs require a C1 Licence category.

Please Note

From 8 June 2015, the paper counterpart to the UK photocard driving licence will not be valid and will no longer be issued by DVLA and, whilst they will still be valid, “old style” UK paper-based licences will no longer be annotated with endorsements. With effect from this date, any UK driving licence holders hiring a vehicle should ideally use “Share My Driving Licence”, the new online service from the DVLA, for validation of their driving record.

To view and create a one-time passcode the driver should go to https://www.gov.uk/view-driving-licence where s/he will be asked to submit their:

Driving licence number
National Insurance number
Postcode

The passcode, which will be valid for a maximum period of 72 hours from the point it is generated, must be presented and still be valid when picking up any rental vehicle. Any drivers unable to obtain a passcode should call the DVLA Customer Contact Centre on 0300 083 0013 (Mon - Fri 9am - 5pm).

Or alternatively we can process this information at the time of hire commencement at one of our hire locations, the above information will still be required to access the DVLA data and if not provided upon request we will be unable to proceed with the vehicle hire.

Identification Needed

Additional identification is required to accompany your driving licence, a minium of two household utility bills, less than 3 months old are required, The address must match your driving licence

Hired our first ever motor home from the Gorseinion branch, the booking was easy thanks to Stuart who sorted everything out when we had to cancel our original booking and rearrange for another time. The motor home was fantastic, clean and comfortable and a big thanks to Dean who explained everything we needed to know and a great holiday was had by all. We would definitely do it again.

We hired a Motorhome from Days Rental for a week. We had a detailed hand over and good service when we arrived to pick the Motorhome up. The vehicle was clean and more than suited our needs. i.e me, wife and dog. We we met on the return and the hand back was quick and effortless. We recommend them and will be back.

Although we had some issues with the camper van itself (Bailey 68-2), the reception and assistance that we had from the staff was excellent. From reception to being shown around the camper and on return, where we highlighted some issues, the attitude of the staff was great. I'd like to thank Peter & Dean for their understanding & responsiveness to our issues and feedback. We would certainly use Day's again if hiring a motorhome.

I rented a motorhome from Days for a long weekend with my cousin who is in a wheelchair. The staff were very helpful and considerate … We did have a problem with the glass safety screen for the cooker, which shattered … we had thought that we would be charged for this, however the staff at Days … did not charge us. Would definitely use Days again.

Excellent service! Had a slight issue with the water while in Northumberland but a few calls to Dean in Swansea and it was quickly sorted. Spent two weeks traveling up and around the North and Scotland and the motorhome didn't miss a beat! All in all a great holiday and will definitely hire from Day's again!

I have always hired the smaller Baileys before, but this time my family and I treated ourself to the 6 Berth so we had a bit more room. I would heartily recommend a bigger vehicle. Days has done it again! Thank you! Simon :)

I'd never been on a motorhome holiday before, so this was a very new experience for me. I have to say, Days Motorhomes really came through for me. The service was fantastic, and the motorhome was clean and everything worked perfectly.
